The Lodge and Cabin are nestled in the mountains of Tennessee between Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN. Poised on private property within Cherokee National Forest the Cabin and Lodge are accessible by a gated, private drive. Enjoy all that the area has to offer with nearby shopping, skiing, white water rafting / fishing on the scenic Nolichucky River or hiking on the Appalachian Trail at its many points of entry. Local points of interest are the towns of Erwin offering opportunities to antique and to select some new and collectable pottery. Jonesboro is 30 minutes away and is home to the International Story Telling Center. Sports fans will enjoy the short 45 min. drive to Bristol Motor Speedway.
Don?t forget our local Ramp Festival every May, here in Flag Pond. And in a scenic 30 minutes, you will reach Asheville, NC, home to Biltmore House and Gardens.
